Soft Touch™: A marine-grade EVA foam layer permanently bonded to compatible seating surfaces. It helps reduce perceived surface temperature and provides a softer, cushioned feel. It is UV-stable, waterproof, mold- and mildew-resistant, easy to clean, and offers added slip resistance when wet.
-
Rad Pad™: A portable EVA foam seat cushion that creates a comfortable barrier between users and hot, cold, wet, or dirty surfaces. It can be used on artificial turf, concrete seating walls, benches, grass, wet surfaces, logs, and bleachers.
Yes. Our products are manufactured from UV-stabilized polyethylene that is designed for continuous outdoor exposure.
The material resists fading, cracking, and brittleness caused by sunlight so your furniture maintains its appearance season after season.
Note that all polyethylene will fade over time and a competitor stating their furniture if fade-proof is not accurate. We do include the top-of-the-line UV stabilizers to drastically slow down the fading process, but fading will definitely occur over the years.
Very easy. The smooth, non-porous surfaces resist moisture and can be wiped down using common institutional cleaning products. Most products can also be power-washed.
This makes Sessions furniture suitable for schools, libraries, museums, and healthcare environments where cleanliness and appearance are important.
Splash Series
Most likely, yes.
Tenjam’s Splash Collection is designed specifically for sun shelves, tanning ledges, and shallow-water lounging areas. Because every pool is unique, each product has recommended water depth guidelines to ensure proper performance, stability, and comfort.
Our product pages include recommended water depths, and we also offer helpful videos showing exactly how to measure your sun shelf before purchasing. We have some chairs that can be used in water depths up to 18”, and our Laylo Lounger and Ripple Wide Table can be used in water depths up to 22” – the largest water depth range of any brand of in-pool furniture.
It’s easy.
Simply measure from the floor of your sun shelf to the normal water level. Because some sun shelves slope slightly, it’s a good idea to take measurements in several locations where your furniture will be placed – especially consider the water depth at where the front of a lounger or chair will be placed.
Tenjam also offers step-by-step videos that demonstrate how to measure your shelf and choose the correct furniture configuration.
Not every pool has the same water depth.
Our patented optional riser system allows certain loungers to be configured for deeper sun shelves while maintaining the comfortable seating position the product was designed for.
This gives homeowners greater flexibility without needing to purchase entirely different furniture.
Absolutely.
Unlike many in-pool furniture products that are designed only for use in water, Tenjam furniture looks just as good on the patio, pool deck, rooftop terrace, or outdoor entertaining area.
Because the furniture drains quickly after being removed from the pool, it’s easy to relocate wherever additional seating is needed.
Some competitors’ products trap pool water in the core of the product – making them too heavy to lift and easily move around your patio.
Yes. This is one of the biggest differences between Tenjam and many competing products.
Our furniture is designed to be lightweight enough for one person to move without complicated assembly or dealing with heavy, water-filled interiors.
Whether you’re rearranging your pool, preparing for severe weather, closing your pool cover, or storing furniture for the season, moving Tenjam products is quick and simple.
We intentionally designed the Splash Collection differently.
Some in-pool furniture relies on removable drain plugs that require owners to fill the furniture with water and then seal that water inside to provide weight. While effective, this creates furniture that becomes extremely heavy and can trap stagnant water for extended periods.
Tenjam products feature engineered openings that allow pool water to circulate through the interior while the furniture is in use. When removed from the pool, the furniture drains naturally and the interior dries much more quickly.
It’s a simpler, cleaner approach that makes moving and maintaining your furniture much easier.
Proper pool chemistry is always important, but our open-core design helps reduce one of the common concerns with in-pool furniture.
Because water continually circulates through the interior while the furniture is in the pool – and drains quickly after removal – there is less opportunity for stagnant water to remain trapped inside.
Allowing the furniture to drain and dry after removal further helps reduce the possibility of internal algae growth.
Open-core construction was developed to solve several common frustrations associated with traditional in-pool furniture.
Instead of trapping water inside the product, our design allows water to circulate naturally while in the pool and drain quickly when removed.
The benefits include:
- Easier to move
- Faster draining
- Interior dries naturally
- Reduced opportunity for stagnant water
- Lower maintenance
- No drain plugs to remove or replace
