The Tenjam SHAYZ Lounger, with armrests, is the most comfortable in-pool lounger in the world. Those armrests make Shayz easier to get into and out of and dramatically more comfortable to relax in – but they also make Shayz roughly 30% wider than most competitor loungers.
Every customer wants that Shayz-level comfort in their pool, but not every sun shelf (tanning ledge) is wide enough to fit it. And hotel and resort managers have been asking for the same comfort in a slimmer footprint, so they can fit more loungers on a single shelf.
So our product design team went to work. The result is Laylo: a sleek, standard-width lounger built for sun shelves everywhere.

Laylo shares the exact ergonomic seat profile and contouring of the Shayz Lounger – the same relaxed leg rest and “social” (more upright) backrest angle that supports your whole body from head to heels – simply without the armrests. Simple, Tool-Free Assembly
Laylo ships as a 2-piece lounger – backrest and leg rest – joined by three of our patent-pending fasteners, the same connection system we perfected on the Woosah Chair. Assembly takes less than 3 minutes, no tools required, and there’s not a single metal part in the system – so no corrosion, no rust, and none of the worry that comes with the metal hardware used in some competitors’ in-pool products.
Risers and Weights: Built for Deeper Water
Optional 4″ risers can be added to extend Laylo’s working water depth. Optional 8″ risers do the same for even deeper pools, extending Laylo’s range up to 22″ (when paired with optional 4lbs weights). Optional coated lead weights insert into the backrest and leg rest to keep Laylo settled in deeper water. This is what makes Laylo the first in-pool lounger available that lets you fully submerge the leg rest. Adding optional weights will fully submerge the leg rest for a true seated-in-the-water feel.

#SPL44100NR — Laylo Lounger, No Risers
8” Water Depth: no additional weight needed, water filled core only.
9” Water Depth: one 4lb weight inserted in leg rest.
10″, 11″, & 12” Water Depth: Two 4lb weights must be inserted in leg rest.
13″ Water Depth: one 4lb weight inserted in backrest during assembly and two 4lb weights inserted into the leg rest to reduce lounger flotation. The leg rest is fully submerged.
14” Water Depth: at water depths greater than 13”, smaller & lighter people may feel they are floating above the lounger seating surface. You may need to experiment with adding weight to the backrest and leg rest portions of the lounger to reduce floating. In our testing at water depths greater than 13” it required one 4lb weight in the backrest portion of the lounger and three 4 lbs weights in the leg rest portion of the lounger to reduce lounger floatation

Storage and Portability
At just 31 lbs empty (36 lbs with 4″ risers), Laylo is easy for one person to move. A pass-through handle at the top of the headrest and recessed finger grips on each side, near the fasteners, make it simple to carry solo. Store Laylo fully assembled or take it apart for tighter storage spaces — either way, the open drain holes throughout the base let the core dry out completely once it’s out of the pool.
Easy to Keep Clean
Laylo’s surface sheds water and dries fast. It resists bodily fluids, most oils, and common pool chemicals, and its built-in antimicrobial properties inhibit bacteria, mold, and mildew — extending its lifespan well beyond a traditional cushioned chaise lounge while keeping odors and stains at bay. Wipe it down with soap and water, or your favorite plastic-bottled cleaner — Dawn Dish Soap, Formula 409, Simple Green, Fantastik, and hundreds more all work well. Use Easyway International Tile & Grout Cleaner for removal of scum and scale/calcium buildup.
Avoid abrasive cleaners or any chemical packaged in a metal container when cleaning polyethylene products.

A Note on Surface Heat
Like any dark plastic surface left in direct sun — coolers, stadium seats, and other waterproof plastic products — Laylo can get hot to the touch, especially in darker colors. A quick splash of pool water will cool the surface before you sit down.
